I have four (4) indoor cats. You have a lot of toys and cat scratching posts, and allow them, even the furniture is new. (Furniture ugly anyway), but my biggest concern is that they are scratches on the frame of the door of my room! It is a framework of wooden door and are only Tearing It Up!
